James Beall

James R. Beall, age 55, of New Castle, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010 at The Waters of New Castle. He was born March 12, 1954 in New Castle, Indiana to Paul and Jackie (Riley) Beall.

He retired in February 2008 from Allegheny Ludlum Steel following 33 years of service. James was a 1972 graduate of Tri High School. He enjoyed golfing and was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying. James loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife: Alice (Alva) Beall whom he married November 23, 1973; daughter: Leah (husband: Ryan) Nicholson of New Castle two sons: Shane Folkner of Muncie and Paul (wife: Karen) Folkner of Muncie; mother: Jackie Beall of New Smyrna Beach, FL; sister: Sherry (husband: Arlie) Vincent of New Smyrna Beach FL; eight grandchildren: Lauren Nicholson, Brenton, Alicia, Caitlyn, Michael, Brandon, and Tori Folkner, and Hunter Gates; several very special nieces and nephews; special cousin: Rhonda Adams, and a special thank you to Dr. Fisher, Dr. Stone and friends from Allegheny Ludlum Steel.

He was preceded in death by his father: Paul R. Beall; a brother: Jay Beall.
