James Paul “Spickett” Faucett, age 71, of New Castle, went to be with the Lord, Monday, May 26, 2014. He was born November 22, 1942 in New Castle to the late Donald and Eva (West) Faucett.
He retired from Dana Corporation in New Castle after over 25 years of service, and afterwards, worked for Norris Farms in Sulphur Springs. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion in New Castle. He was also a past member of the Shriners. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Connie Jean Faucett of New Castle; four children, Rhonda (Dudley) Hellard, David (Kristi) Davis, Sha (Kelly) Ridenour and Katina (Trent) Dishman all of New Castle; grandchildren, Chris, J.D., Brooke, Kaleb, Luke, Isaac, Elijah, Daniel, Kylie, Vade, Vance and Josh; eight great grandchildren; sister, Donna Davis of Hagerstown; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Donald and Eva Faucett, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Davis.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Paul Riddle officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition.
