James Lee Locke

James Lee Locke, 35, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, June 12, 2024. He was born October 6, 1988 in Anderson, a son of James M. Locke Jr. and the late Tonya Chesher.

A 2011 graduate of Muncie Central High School, James worked as a C.N.A. for over ten years, most of them at Westminster Village in Muncie. James was an excellent artist, loved to fish, loved music, and watching horror movies.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, LaTasha Locke of Winchester; father and stepmother, James M. (Maria) Locke Jr. of Enterprise, AL; siblings, Adrian (Austen) Simpkins of Sulphur Springs, Amanda (Kelly) Locke of Muncie, Carter Filomeno of Upland, Brian Austyn Locke of OH, Hunter Locke of OH, Makayla Locke, Preston Locke, and Abigail Locke, all of Enterprise, AL; nieces and nephews, Kevin Brown, Aniah Simpkins, Alivia Simpkins, and Blaire Locke.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his mother, Tonya Chesher.
