James P. Woolard, 59, of New Castle died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at his residence. He was born January 10, 1952 in New Castle, Indiana a son of the late Herbert A. and Dorothy F. (Shepherd) Woolard.

He was a former member of Chicago Corner Church. He enjoyed watching sports, game shows and being with his friends.

Survivors include five brothers: Stephen (wife: Phyllis) Woolard of Economy, Raoul (wife: Sally) Wehrley of Plainfield, Illinois, Donald (wife: Vicki) Wehrley of Centerville, Peter Wehrley of Richmond, and David Wehrlely of Orlando, Florida; one sister: Jana (husband: Jay) Mayberry of Richmond and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: John Wehrley and two sisters: Cheryl Scherber and Joan Wehrley.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with Tom McGilliard officiating. Burial will follow in Chicago Corner Cemetery.
