Janette and Charles enjoyed traveling with their camper, even taking a month-long trip out west; they also enjoyed spending several winters in Florida and a couple of cruises. Janette loved to quilt, camp, trips to the casino with sister, Carol and especially taking family girls trips to places such as Shipshewana, The Ark, and wineries, just to name a few. Janette was a long-time devout member of St. Rose and St. Anne Catholic Church; she served as leader of the St. Rose Society for many years.

Janette is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles E. Hauser of Dunreith; children, Sherry (Frank) Palin of Noblesville, Lisa (Mike) Hacker of New Castle, Christine (Michael) Marsee of Spiceland, Loretta “Lori” (Jason) Forth of Rushville and Charles “Doug” (Sara) Hauser of Pendleton; grandchildren, Graham and Mitchell Palin, Jillian and Nathan Hacker, Abigail (Zeke) McGinnis, Olivia Meeker, Dustin and Kody Marsee, Rosalie and Brandon Hauser; great grandson, Watson McGinnis; brothers, Dennis (Leslie) Spears and Bryan (Tammy) Spears; brother-in-law, Junior James; sister-in-law, Cindy Spears; numerous nieces and nephews.
