Janice (Riley) Fannin Clark, 63, of Beech Grove, formerly of Carthage, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended battle with ALS. She was born September 30, 1947 in Rushville the daughter of Tony and Olive (Spence) Riley.
Janice graduated from Carthage High School in 1965. She worked in management most of her life in hotels, restaurants, health care and most recently in a Salvation Army Store. She resided in Florida from 1979 through 1989 and then in Indianapolis. She attended the Cornerstone Nazarene Church, enjoyed ceramics, sewing and crafts.
She is survived by her mother: Olive Riley of Shelbyville; two sons: Rodney (wife: Terri) Fannin of Calhan, CO; Boyd Fannin of Beech Grove; five grandchildren: Brittany, Clay, Wyatt, Garrett, and Baileigh; two step grandchildren: Hannah and Dalton; great-grandson: Ethan; several cousins and many friends.
In addition to her father: Tony Riley; she was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Clark in 2002.
Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Carthage. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of the service.
