Jean Ann Hill

Jean Ann Hill, 71, a resident of New Castle, formerly of Knightstown passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in her home. She was born September 13, 1951 in Marion County to the late Marvin and Barbara (Sheffield) Hill.
Jean Ann worked for the city of New Castle as a mayor’s assistant for several years. She volunteered at Henry County Hospital and was a member of the New Castle Senior Center. Jean Ann enjoyed reading, playing dominos, euchre’, BINGO and loved classic country music. She especially cherished the time spent with her “little” family, friends and her dog, Goldie.
Survivors include a son, Michael (Amanda) Hill of Shirley and three grandchildren, Brayden, Kendyl and Mallory.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Hill and her grandparents, Everett and Ethel Sheffield.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, January 13, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the New Castle Senior Center or Suburban Hospice. You may express condolences or share a memory of Jean Ann at www.hinsey-brown.com .
