Jeanette K. Imler, 96, of New Castle passed away Friday, April 24, 2020 at The Waters in New Castle. She was born August 24, 1923 in Cadiz, Indiana, a daughter of the late Harry “Peanut” and Alta (O’Neal) Kern.
Jeanette retired from General Motors after 28 years of service and had attended Cadiz Christian Church. She loved to bowl, travel and plant flowers.
Survivors include a sister, Jackie (Tom) Eversole of New Castle; four grandchildren, Jeff (Beth) Wilson of New Castle, Julie Groce of Dunedin, FL; Joni (Eddie) Stout of Cadiz, and Jamie Wilson of Cadiz; seven great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a son-in-law, Ray Wilson of Cadiz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Riggs; second husband, Mauri Imler; a daughter, Marilyn Wilson; and sisters, Ada Macy, Imogene Pate, and her twin sister, Janice Riggs.
Private services will be at 3:00 pm on Tuesday April 28, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Jeff Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
