Jennifer Ruthanne Marie Ford

Jennifer Ruthanne Marie Ford, 18, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 7, 2013 from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Wayne County, IN. She was born November 26, 1994 in New Castle, Indiana to Joey Johnson and Lucinda Davidson.

Jennifer attended both New Castle and Hagerstown High School. She was a member of the New Castle High School Pep Band and had marched in the Memorial Day Parade. Jennifer enjoyed going to the races at Winchester and Anderson Speedway, where she liked camping and working on the cars. She loved being out in nature, spending time with babies and children, and helping people who were less fortunate.

She is survived by her father, Joey Johnson of New Castle; mother, Lucinda (Mike) Davidson of New Castle; grandparents, James "Dad" and Velma "Mom" Dean of New Castle; sisters, Sue and Gerry Ford both of New Castle; brothers, Josh Orr of New Castle and Kyle Orr of Greenwood; boyfriend, Brent Hicks; four step sisters, Ashley Davidson of New Castle, Tanya Davidson of Connersville, Angelia Davidson of Rushville, and Rachel Davidson of Brookville; a step brother, Steven (Mandy) Davidson of Muncie; great grandma Carole Soper of New Castle; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Geraldine Ford; uncle, George "Toad" Ford; and a cousin, Jeremy Ford.

Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Turning Point Life Center, 2263 Indiana Ave, New Castle with Pastor Matt Perdue officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Friends may from 4-8 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
