Jessie N. Apollos

Jessie N. Apollos, 82, of Indianapolis passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at her residence. She was born June 25, 1940 in Monroe, Kentucky, the daughter of Billie and Vassie (Sprowles) Anderson.

Jessie was the mother of eight children and enjoyed spending time with family especially her sisters. She loved sewing and traveling, her trip to Iceland was the most meaningful for Jessie.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Jack “Steve” Apollos, Mike Apollos, Tim (Sandy) Apollos, Terry (Kim) Apollos, Jerry (Teresa) Apollos, Scott (Debbie) Apollos, Sabra (Brian) Apollos-Bays; 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; a brother, Dave (Tena) Anderson; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Apollos; grandson, Jerry Lee Apollos; sisters, Joan Bailey, Martha Bow and Betty (Loren) Arnold.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Mike Conkle officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
