Jonathan Wiley

Jonathan E. Wiley, 31, of New Castle died unexpectedly Saturday, September 5, 2009 at his residence. He was born November 4, 1977 in New Castle, the son of Stanley E. and Deborah S. (Bach) Wiley.

Jonathan was a 1996 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, Arizona in 2006. He was presently employed with Stan Wiley Construction. An avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and mechanic, he was also an avid fan of Grateful Dead & Jerry Garcia. Jonathan enjoyed the outdoors, nature and walking through the old State Hospital grounds.

Survivors include his parents: Stanley & Debi Wiley of New Castle; one sister: Melissa Murphy and her sons Tyler & Dylan Blevins of New Castle; one half brother: Levi Welch and his sons, Devon, David, Daniel & Dakota Welch of New Castle; maternal grandparents: John & Pat Bach of New Castle; several aunts, uncles & cousins; and two special friends: Amber Bodine and Milora Wood.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Lewis and Mary Wiley.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with the Reverend David Perry officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
