Joseph T. Mueller, 60, passed away Monday, October 27, 2008 at Ellison House in Greenfield. He was born February 8, 1948 in Washington, Missouri the son of Herbert and Marion (Buskuski) Mueller.
A 1966 graduate of Pacific High School in Missouri, he was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving from 1966-1968. He was a member of the Knightstown United Methodist Church and a member of the Knightstown American Legion Post 152 for 40 years. He was employed by the town of Knightstown for several years. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. His hobby was woodworking and he enjoyed barbecuing for charities.
He is survived by a two sons: Joseph (wife: Michele) Mueller, Jr. of Wilkinson; James (wife: Holly) Mueller of Fishers; a daughter: Jacqueline Mueller of Rushville; five grandchildren: Sarah and Jacob Mueller of Wilkinson; Kayla and Emma Mueller of Fishers; Matthew Mueller of Rushville; a brother: Paul (wife: Roseanne) Mueller of Pacific, Missouri; two nieces: Rhonda Mueller and Theresa Mueller; a nephew: David Mueller all of Pacific, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, October 31, 2008 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the Knightstown American Legion. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday, October 30, 2008.
