Joshua P. Reynolds

Joshua P. Reynolds, 46, Muncie, formerly of New Castle, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 29, 2022. His death was unexpected, and he will be greatly missed. He was born October 20, 1976 in New Castle to Garth and Nancy (Fletcher) Reynolds.

A 1996 graduate of Blue River Valley High School, he played basketball and ran Cross Country. Joshua battled schizophrenia for many years and most recently lung issues. Joshua always lit up the room with his smile. He didn’t know a stranger, and he loved the company of family the most. He grew up attending St. Anne Catholic Church in New Castle with his family and prayed the rosary daily. He also loved sports.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Garth Reynolds of Bradenton, FL; siblings, Gregg Reynolds, Jeff Reynolds, Sheila Reynolds (Brian) Rummel, Aaron Reynolds, all of New Castle; Todd Reynolds of Bradenton, FL, and Leannette Reynolds (Doyle) Chandler of TN; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Reynolds in 2009; several grandparents and many other family members.

Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Father John Hall officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Anne Cemetery in New Castle. Memorial contributions may be given to the Joshua P.
