Joyce A. Glaser, of Losantville, went to be with her eternal family Monday, December 05, 2011 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after a long and courageous battle. She was born December 26, 1948 in Muncie, IN the daughter of Carcie L. and Betty L. (Buck) Golliher.
She had worked several years at the Reflexology Center in Middletown. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Church in Muncie and manager of St. Vincent Depaul Thrift Store in Muncie. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family. She enjoyed home schooling her youngest son. She loved playing board games with her children and grandchildren.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 44 years: Jim Glaser; two sons: Bradley J. Glaser (special friend: Joni Butler) of Summitville, Ryan C. (wife, Lori) Glaser of New Castle; two daughters: Lori (husband, Greg) Jester of New Castle, Lisa M. (husband, Kenny) Bickford of Parker City; fiancé of her late son Craig: Angie Favorite of Hagerstown; grandchildren: Evan Glaser, Nick Glaser, Becca Glaser, Taylor Jester, Mariah Jester, Allison Jester, Elijah Jester, Kyle Bickford, Kenadee Bickford, Layne Huntington, Ryland Glaser, Ysabella Glaser, Lukas Glaser, Raylee Glaser, Jaylon Favorite, Braydon Favorite; sisters: Janet (husband, Bob) Glaser of New Castle, Linda (husband, Lanny) Brooks Shelbyville, Nancy (husband, Bob) Weaver of New Castle; brothers: Rick (wife, Trish) Golliher of New Castle, Steve (wife, Debbie) Golliher of Westfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Craig Glaser; two grandchildren: Kyndal Glaser and Kaleb Hoover; a sister: Connie Golliher.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 8, 2011 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Muncie with Reverend Dennis Goth officiating. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Wednesday, December 7 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle where a Rosary service will conducted at 4:00 PM.
