Juanita Retz

Juanita Jean Retz, age 79, went to be with the Lord Monday, September 20, 2010 at Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle. She was born July 19, 1931 in Jackson, Kentucky to the late Mike and Vesta (Adkins) Robinson.

She was formerly employed by Firestone (World Bestos) in New Castle. She enjoyed NASCAR, her grandchildren, country music, and going to her place at the lakes in Michigan. Juanita was a member of the Eagles.

Survivors include her children, Cathy (husband, Tim) Rector, Ronald C. (wife, Cathy) Retz and Anita (husband, Doug) Dorn all of New Castle; grandchildren, Doug Rector of Middletown, Leslie (husband, Mike) Anderson of Indianapolis, Wendy (husband, Geoff) Barber of New Castle, Jeremy (wife, Jennifer) Madison of New Castle, Jennifer (husband, Chad) Compton of FL, Jason (wife, Christie) Dorn of New Castle, Wesley Chew of Muncie, Kyle Retz (companion, Chantelle Buchanon) of Middletown, Andrew Michael Retz of TN and William D. “Billy” Retz of Anderson; several great grandchildren; a good friend, Regina Smith of New Castle; a sister, Moreen Robinson of Baltimore, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Retz; a son, William E. “Billy” Retz; several brothers and sisters.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Denny Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens.
