Judi Couch

Judi Couch passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 , at the age of 81 in Spring Hill, FL. She was born on January 13, 1942, in New Castle, IN. Judi was a caring kind, strong, and humorous individual who touched the lives of those around her.

In her career, Judi held various roles, including dog groomer, veterinary assistant, and emergency room secretary at Community Hospital North for 19 years. Her love for animals and dedication to helping others were evident in her chosen professions.

Judi is survived by her husband, Bill, her son Jay (Lisa), her daughter Stacey, and her step-granddaughters Cheyenne (Kurtis) Schnepp, Delilah (Chris) Duncan, and Shannon and brother John (Kathy) Rogers. She was also a loving step-great-grandmother to Killian and Emilianna.

Judi was preceded in death by her father Vaughn Bowers, her mother Louise Bowers Rogers, her stepfather George Rogers, and her brother Vaughn Bowers.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation to celebrate Judi’s life on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, IN. Memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Green Hills Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Judi Couch. Her compassion and caring nature extended beyond her immediate circle, and supporting this cause would honor her memory.

Judi will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on through the love and kindness she shared with others.
