Julie Wells

Julie Wells, age 49, of Mooreland, went to be with our father Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born June 13, 1959 in Henry County, Indiana to Marion and Agnes (Burke) Woolsey.

Julie loved her grandchildren and they were her top priority. She also loved spending time with her family especially family vacations to Myrtle Beach. Julie enjoyed hobbies such as flower gardening, reading and also enjoyed sewing and making clothing for her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 31 years: Steve Wells of Mooreland; a daughter: Amanda (husband: Ryan) Bryant of New Castle; grandchildren: Danielle Bryant and Landyn Bryant both of New Castle; sisters: Pam (husband: David) Denton of Mooreland and Debbie Fox of New Castle; brother: Mike Woolsey of Phoenix, AZ; mother-in-law: Violet Wells of New Castle; sisters-in-law: Jimmi (husband: Chuck) Berkey of North Vernon and Sherry (husband: Don) Denney of New Castle; brother-in-law: Mike (wife: Barbara) Wells of Selma; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Sister Shirley Gerth officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anne Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at the funeral home where a Rosary Service will take place at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the Danielle and Landyn Bryant Scholarship Fund c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with envelopes available at the funeral home.
