Kara Marsh

Kara Anne Marsh, 4 months, infant daughter of Travis and Brittany (Lingle) Marsh of New Castle, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Henry County Hospital following an unexpected illness.

Kara was a very bright and observant baby who could always be found following her mother wherever she was to go. She loved music, bright lights, and falling asleep in her daddy’s arms. Kara had the most beautiful eyes and her laughter brought joy to everyone’s life. She was a happy baby especially when she woke to see her daddy or when he would arrive home from work. Kara enjoyed watching Dumbo, Sleeping Beauty and Tinker Bell, her nickname was ‘Tink’.

Survivors include: her parents; maternal grandparents: Dennis Ruhlman and Kathy Lingle of New Castle; paternal grandparents: Gloria Lester and Brett Johnson of Anderson; Arlin Lester of New Castle; Don Marsh of New Castle; maternal great grandparent: Phyllis Pond of Rushville; Aunts: Samantha (husband: Brian) Johnson of Wyoming; Karen Lester of Lake Charles, LA; uncle: Joe (wife: Kim Lester of Connersville; great aunt: Beverly Pond of Rushville; great uncles: Mike (wife: Cindy) Pond of Indianapolis; Mike (Candace) Marsh of Markleville; Phil Marsh of New Castle and Larry (wife: Sharon) Marsh of Mechanicsburg.

She was preceded in death by: maternal grandfather: Mac Lingle and maternal great grandfather: Charles Pond.

Services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with the Reverend Carol Wiley officiating. Friends may call the funeral home from 5:00p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
