Karen June McNeill

Karen June (Burgess) McNeill, age 76, passed away peacefully on July 20. She was born to Hershel and Retha Burgess on July 26, 1947. 

Karen, affectionately known as “Grammy” to all that knew her, was a square dancer for many years. She also loved to play softball for most of her adult life, along with her grown children. She loved to go to the beach and gambling was a favorite hobby. She was also a property manager for many years that allowed her and Dan to do a lot of traveling. 

Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Addison on October 23, 2021 and her brothers, Mike Burgess, Dean Burgess and Gerry Burgess. She is survived by her three children, Daniella (David) Martin, Debi McNeill and D. Adam (Sarah) McNeill. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua, Dallas, Kory, Rebekah, Kaila, Megan and Annabelle. Also survived by great grandchildren, Dixie, Colin, Wyatt, Adelyn, Charlotte, Atticus and Kennedy. Other survivors include her dear sisters-in-law, Pat (David) Gardner, Phyllis Borger, Jacque Reeves, and Susan (Dale) Burke, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

As per her request, she will be cremated and joined with Dan. The ashes will be spread at a later date by her children. No services will be held.
