Kimberly Kay Snyder of Greenfield, formerly of New Castle, Indiana passed this life and went to be with her Lord at 8am on Monday, November 7, 2016. Kim was born March 14, 1962 in New Castle to Vaughn Bowers and Annette Meader.
She is survived by her children, Kilyssa (Travis) Hamm of New Castle, In, Kyra Snyder of Plainfield, In, Shaun Snyder of Austin, Texas and Seth (Lilly) Snyder of Ft. Bragg, NC. She also has 2 grandchildren, Sydney and Leighton Hamm. Her mother, Annette Meader and sister, Brandy Meader of Goshen, Ohio survive her along with brother, Scott (Karen) Burke of Greenfield, sisters, Krista Keith, Sandra Whitehead and Lisa Huddleston all of New Castle. She also has several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Vaughn Bowers, Step-Father Mike Meader, Step-Mother Linda Bowers and nephew AJ Burke.
Kim was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Aunt, Sister and Follower of Jesus. She found her place with Jesus through life’s ups and downs and touched many along the way.
She enjoyed country music, crafts and also all the people she helped through working and volunteering at Wheeler Mission.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday, November 11, 2016 from 1-3 p.m. at Memorial Wesleyan Church, 2701 N. Memorial Dr., New Castle, IN. A private family service will follow after the Memorial. As per her request, Kim will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wheeler Mission Center for Women and Children, 3208 E Michigan Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46201. Arrangements are entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Condolences and memories of Kim, may be expressed at www.hinsey-brown.com .
