Larry L. Vickery, 59, of Indianapolis, formerly of New Castle, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 in Highland Manor in Indianapolis. He was born October 5, 1953 in New Castle, a son of Knox and Cathern (Roll) Vickery.
A 1971 graduate of Walter P. Chrysler Memorial High School, Larry had been employed at Chrysler Corp. in New Castle, and most recently at Rural King and The Strip Shop in New Castle.
He is survived by a daughter, Amanda; two sisters, Nellie Rackow of MN, and Patsy Shultz of New Castle; two brothers, Bill Vickery and James Vickery, both of New Castle; uncle, Dennis Vickery of Lewisville; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Marie Vickery and a brother, George Vickery.
There will be no services. Arrangements were entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory at www.hinsey-brown.com .
