Leslie Odier, 77, of Spiceland, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at his home. He was born August 6, 1942 in Ft. Wayne, a son of the late Rollie and Francile (Snyder) Odier.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during the Vietnam War. He was recently able to go on the Indy Honor Flight to Washington D.C. An avid golfer, he loved golfing with his brothers. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #484 and the American Legion, Post #137. A very outgoing man, Les donated to several charities, including Special Olympics. He had previously served on the Allen County Sheriff’s Reserves.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Odier of Spiceland; son, Mike (Oge) Odier of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter, Ixchel Odier; grandson, Nicholas Odier; brothers, Bill (Marie) Odier, Charlie (Debbie) Odier, David Odier; a sister, Marsha Jones; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Danny Odier, and a brother in law, Mike Jones.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
