Lillie M Bundy

Lillie M. Bundy, age 85, of New Castle, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at her residence. She was born May 24, 1927 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Arthur and Myrtle (Bostic) Sparks.

A past resident of Kennard, Knightstown, and New Castle, Lillie retired from the Delco Remy division of General Motors after 30 years of service and was a member of the Grand Avenue Baptist Church in New Castle. She loved to visit people and help them. She also loved her church, her dogs, and dancing.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Gene (wife, Julie) Bundy of New Castle; step-grandchildren, Kris (Jennifer) Kollmeyer of New Castle, Stacey (Kit) Crane of New Castle, and Kurt (Dana) Kollmeyer of Palatine, IL; step great-grandchildren, Katie Kollmeyer, Abbey Kollmeyer, Cara Crane, and Emily Crane; a special niece, Mary (Ed) Holcomb of New Castle, who was her loving caregiver for the past four years; also several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Bundy in 1999; son, Steven Bundy in 1970; a brother, Claude Sparks; five sisters, Beulah Prewitt, Ollie Lee Shaver, Betty Jones and Dorothy Larrison, and a sister in infancy.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Charles Dugger officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
