Linda L. Ball, 90, of Danville, and formerly of New Castle, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin. She was born May 15, 1934, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Sherold and Dorothy (Kashner) Stafford.
A homemaker, Linda lived in Henry County most of her life, where she and her husband raised their family. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a Girl Scout leader.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Lloyd V. (Christine) Ball II of Georgia; Barbara (Mike) McDonald of Greencastle, and Beth (Brian) Woolums of Greencastle; grandchildren, Cara (Braun) Mendenhall, Brooke (Eric) Jaromin, Holly (Jeremy) Taylor, Lucas (Erin) Woolums, and Nathaniel Woolums; eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd V. Ball.
Private graveside services will take place at Mt. Summit Cemetery in Mt. Summit, Henry County. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Memorial contributions may be given to the Whitestone Christian Church, 8045 US-36, Coatesville, IN, 46121, the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
