Linda L. "Bug" Craig

Linda L. “Bug” Craig, age 73, of New Castle, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born March 11, 1942 in Albany, KY, a daughter of the late William and Marie (Denney) Pierce.

Linda was a 1961 graduate of Clinton County High School. She retired from Chrysler Corporation in New Castle following 18 years of service, and was a member of the UAW Local #371.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of over 52 years, Jimmie Craig of New Castle, who she married April 30, 1963; two brothers, Dale (Lynda) Pierce of New Castle, and Randall (Judy) Pierce of Louisville, KY; three nephews, Jamey Pierce (fiancé, Krista Teague) of Orlando, FL, Rev. Johnny (Connie) Craig of Owensboro, KY; and Earl K. Stockton of Cookeville, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two nieces, Gina Pierce and Diane Guffey, and a nephew, Danny Ray Stockton.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. (CST) Friday, February 26, 2016 at Pine Grove Church in Albany, KY, where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
