Lois Hill Agee Bell

Lois Hill Agee Bell, 80, of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born July 1, 1932 in Somerset, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Nelson and Gladys (Marlow) Hill.

A 1950 graduate of New Castle High School, she retired from AT&T (formerly Western Electric). Lois was a member of the Southside Church of the Nazarene in New Castle, and was involved in collecting antiques. She was an antique dealer for several years.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Ranse Agee of New Castle, Terry Agee of Indianapolis, and Lynn Agee of Florida; grandchildren, Dylan Agee, Ranse Thomas (Hollie) Agee, Desire` Agee, and Clint Agee, Chastity Agee, Brittany Agee; great grandchildren, Mycayla Agee, Brylie and Bentley Agee, and Kyeenia and Nakita Agee; a sister, Lilly (Rev. Harmon) Thrasher of Greenfield; two brothers, David (Colleen) Hill of Byrdstown, TN, and Paul (Doris) Hill of Connersville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 41 years, Herbert M. Agee; her second husband, Mentford “Howard” Bell; son, Tony Lee Agee; a sister, Anna Mae Sullivan; two brothers, Edward Hill and Thomas Hill; a daughter in law, Maggie Agee.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with the Reverend David Perry officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Food Pantry at the Southside Church of the Nazarene, 2805 S. 14th Street, New Castle, IN 47362 with envelopes available at the funeral home.
