Lonnie Ray Clark, Jr., age 42, of New Castle, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana following a brief illness. He was born October 18, 1965 in New Castle, Indiana to Lonnie Ray and Christine M. (Walker) Clark.
A 1984 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School, he served as an IHSAA basketball referee. He was a Qualified Medical Assistant for Residential CRF/First Choice for the past 19 years. He enjoyed music and was an avid roller skater and sports fan.
Survivors include his grandmother: Florence Walker of New Castle; his mother: Christine M. McKee of New Castle; his father: Lonnie Ray (wife: Anna) Clark of New Castle; brothers: Jeff (wife: Amanda) Clark of Anderson, Carl (wife: Nila) Clark of Hagerstown, Scott (wife: Marty) Clark of New Castle, David Clark (companion: Melissa Cool) of Sulphur Springs, and Kenneth (wife: Denell) Clark of Fortville; a sister: Jacqueline Perry of Richmond; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Lawrence Walker; paternal grandparents: Clella and Verlie Clark; stepfather: Gerald McKee; a niece: Isabella Clark.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Ron Elam officiating.
