Loren R. Arnold, 80, of Knightstown, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born July 2, 1935 in Rush County, IN to the late Richard and Ruth (Stanton) Arnold.
Loren retired from Lucent Technologies in equipment installation after 38 years of service. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time on his computer when not able to be outside.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty Arnold of Knightstown; and two sons, Jeffrey (wife: Kathy) Arnold of Knightstown and Calvin (wife: Candy) Price Arnold of Greencastle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Arnold.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Deacon Russ Woodard officating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Monday, February 22 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church, 8144 US 40, Knightstown, IN 46148. Condolences and memories of Loren may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
