Louise Tucker, 92, of Mooreland, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 6, 2012 following a brief illness. She was born April 30, 1920 in Sullivan, IN the daughter of Roy and Gladys Kimberlain.
Louise had worked at Ball Brother’s and Illinois Glass in Muncie. She lived in Sunland, CA from 1956 to 1971 when she moved back to Mooreland. She also worked at Sexton’s Grocery Store in Mooreland. She was very active in Mooreland Friends Church where she was active in the Food Pantry. She enjoyed gardening and doing her own yard work. Louise was a charter member of the Lady Lions in Mooreland. She enjoyed country living and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also made beautiful quilts with her husband.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Darlene (Gary) Gard of Mooreland, Marlene (Ray) Sexton of Lake Placid, FL, Marjorie (Bob) Shelton of Mooreland; seven grandchildren: Scott (Tammy) Gard of Mooreland, Alan Gard of New Castle, Charles (Mary) Sexton of South Haven MS, Steve (Carolina) Sexton of Plantation, FL, Cindy Sexton of Vacaville, CA, Penny (Jim) Penticuff of New Castle, Eddie Rhyndress (companion: Jenny) of Waverly, OH; 17 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Paul D. Tucker in 1992; one sister: Thelma Killen; one brother: Robert Kimberlain.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Brenda Early officiating. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery.
