Lowell D. Rader, 78, and Leisa E. Rader, 76, both of Mooresville, passed away together on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Lowell was born September 18, 1934 in Marion County, a son of the late Frank J. and Helen (Meals) Rader. Leisa was born January 3, 1937 in Knightstown, a daughter of the late Morris G. and Hazel (Wilson) Ratliff.

Lowell was a 1952 graduate of Fishers High School, and retired from Chrysler Corporation, working at Shadeland Ave. and Kokomo plants. An avid sportsman, he was a member of the USA Table Tennis Association, and the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association. He had played semi-pro baseball in his younger days and was State Fair Champion Horseshoe Pitcher several times. Lowell enjoyed fishing, hiking, and the outdoors in general.

Leisa was a 1955 graduate of Lawrence Central High School. She had worked at Lolli-Pops Children’s Clothing Store in Noblesville, and had also worked at Fort Benjamin Harrison. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and Job’s Daughters. She enjoyed gardening, painting, and sewing. Leisa appreciated the American Indian culture and was very charitable toward American Indian Children’s groups.

Both were member of Fishers United Methodist Church.

They are survived by a son, Lowell (Lorraine); two daughters, Tracy and Theresa (Mike) and two grandsons, Ryan and Patrick. He is survived by a brother and a sister; she is survived by a sister.

Services will be private at the desire of the family. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
