Mahala Joan Bainter

Mahala J. "Joan" Bainter, age 70, of Muncie, passed from this earth to be sheltered in the arms of the Lord, Thursday, September 12, 2013 at IU Ball Hospital in Muncie. Joan was born July 15, 1943 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Dallas and Lucille Ford.

Joan was a member of the Blountsville Christian Church for many years until her health prevented her attendance. She was a most humble and generous lady. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her, have been blessed in some way. Our loss is heavens gain.

Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda (Danny) Turner, Sheri Bainter and Ashley Bainter all of Muncie; several beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joan is preceded in death by her loving husband, Marris Bainter and cherished daughter, Sally Bainter, a sister, Shirley McCormick.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Blountsville Christian Church with Reverend Thomas Current officiating.
