Marcelia "Markie" Renshaw Walgamuth

Marcelia "Markie" McDonald Renshaw Walgamuth, 93, of New Castle passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Glen Oaks Health Campus. She was born February 17, 1923 in Morehead, Kentucky to the late Willard McDonald Sr. and Della (Bowen) McDonald Cox.
Markie was a 1941 graduate of New Castle High School and was an avid camper. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church. Markie worked at Manchester University (formerly Manchester College) and HF Group (formerly Heckman Bindery) both in North Manchester, IN.
She is survived by her son, Timothy (Cathy) Renshaw of New Palestine; grandson, Jonathan (Amber) Renshaw of Indianapolis; great grandchildren, Joshua and Mary Renshaw; sister in law, Mayme McDonald of Michigan City, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Glen Renshaw in 1979; second husband, Orlow Walgamuth in 1990; brothers, James, Willard Jr., and Herndon McDonald; sisters, Imogene Denny and Kathleen Pierce.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Tom McGilliard officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, February 15 at the funeral home.
