Margaret "Glenna" Lowe

Margaret “Glenna” Lowe, at 74 of Hagerstown, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Henry County Hospital. She was born May 19, 1934 in Wayne County, Kentucky to the late Lowell Arthur and Elsie Jewell (Massengale) Perdue.

She had worked at Firestone in Noblesville but was a homemaker for most of her adult life. She was an active member of Foursquare Gospel Church in New Castle where she was also a member of the Ladies Ministry and Prayer Group. She enjoyed painting, drawing and other crafts but her most important interest was her family.

Survivors include her husband: Carlos L. Lowe of Hagerstown; two daughters: Marcia Ann Moore of Hagerstown and Terry Lea (husband: Todd) Rader of New Castle; four grandchildren: David Eric (wife: Lora) Moore of Hagerstown, Clinton Michael (wife: Heather) Moore of New Castle, Carlos Alan (wife: Rachel) Rader of Spiceland and Darcy Leann Rader of New Castle; six great grandchildren: Madeline and Ava Moore, Logan McRoberts and Kevlei Moore, Kassady and Kyle Rader; two sisters: Arvella Baker and Nettie Lester both of New Castle; a brother, JR Massengale of Kentucky; many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Kevin L. Moore; granddaughter: Jennifer Jo Moore.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverends Lynn Furrow and Charles McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association with envelopes available at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.hinsey-brown.com .
