Margaret E. True

Margaret E. True, age 93, of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle. She was born July 25, 1918 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Harry and Lillian (Blackburn) Reger.

She retired from General Motors/Delco Remy in Anderson in 1982 after 28 years of service. She had raised chickens at home for many years. She enjoyed camping, fishing and playing cards.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda (husband, Lloyd) Catey of New Castle; a grandson, Scott (wife, Brenda) Catey of New Castle; a granddaughter, Lisa (husband, Bobby) Wise of New Castle; four great grandchildren, Chelsea and Nick Catey, Lindsey and Abby Wise; three nephews, Bob (wife, Sue) True of Greenfield, James True of Muncie and Jack (wife, Brenda) Flowers of Florence, AL; a niece, Marjorie (husband, James) Dudley of Guntersvile, AL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. True in 1989; a brother, Virgil Reger; a twin sister, Martha Flowers and an infant sister, Marjorie.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Jack Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimers Association with envelopes available at the funeral home.
