Mark “Scott” Moore

Mark "Scott" Moore, 65, of Muncie passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He was born July 21, 1957 in Muncie, Indiana to Norma J. Reidel (Adams) and Fredrick V. Moore.

Scott was a 1975 graduate of Cowan HIgh School. He Honorably served in the United States Navy from 1976-1982 where he specialized in fighter aircraft avionics. Upon completion of his military service, he worked for the Pepsi Bottling Company in Muncie, Indiana before taking work in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he worked in the Engineering and Maintenance field. Scott was an avid hunter and fishing sportsman that could fix or fabricate just about anything and loved history and historical artifacts.

Scott is survived by his children, Robert Moore (Devon) of New Castle, Indiana, Squire Moore (Kara) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Moriah Moore of Wyoming, Michigan and Meghan Rockwell of Coopersville, Michigan; grandchildren, Shaun, Abby, Isaac, Orion and Lincoln; sisters, Judy (Joe) Reiber, Durinda (Hugh) Cunningham and Tammy (Dick) Collins, numerous nieces, nephews and a large number of cousins.

In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his canine companion, "Rocky"; sisters, Iva Marie Moore and Dixie McNeice.

The family will welcome visitors from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM with a graveside service following on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the, Marion National Cemetery, Building 65 (near the hospital campus), 1700 E 38th St, Marion, IN 46953. Pastor Don Raines of Pilgram Holiness Church of New Castle, Indiana will be officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
