Mrs. Martha Caig, 78, passed away on March 10, 2010, under the care of Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Caig was born in Raleigh, Indiana, and lived in Port Saint Lucie, Florida for 25 years, moving from Miami, Florida. She was a dental assistant, and was also a 50 year member of the Knights of Pythias, K of P Lodge in New Castle, Indiana. Mrs. Caig was of Baptist Faith and a member of North Stuart Baptist Church, in Stuart, Florida.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Caig; son, Thomas R. Caig (Kathy) of Charlotte, North Carolina; daughter, Cynthia D. McAdams (Kevin), of Sarasota, FL; son, David R. Caig (Debbie), of Perrysburg, Ohio; six grandchildren, Chris, Cara, Chad, April, Joe, and Jenny; six great grandchildren, Nicholas, Cayla, Jackson, Mazzie, Wyatt, and Kaylee; sisters, Zada Hall, Mary Riggs, Roberta Sanders, and one brother, Dwane Cole.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Denny Adams officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle where a memorial service will be conducted by the Pythian Sisters at 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Caig's honor to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian, Stuart FL 34997.
