Mary Mattix Miller, 93 of McKinney, TX passed away Thursday March 30, 2017. She was born May 6, 1923 in Eden, IN to the late Albert and Hazel (Overman) Murfin.
Mary was a longtime resident of Hancock County, living in both Charlottesville and Greenfield before moving to Texas. She had worked in the cafeteria at both Greenfield Middle School and Charlottesville School Systems.
Mary is survived by her son, Lawrence “Larry” (Barbara) Mattix of McKinney, TX; 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence B. Mattix and second husband, Everett Miller.
Graveside services will be at 11:00a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Memories and condolences of Mary may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
