Mary Orrell, 82, of Knightstown, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 6, 2011 at her residence. She was born December 31, 1928 in Dunreith the daughter of Sherman and Frankie (Mays) Goodpaster.
She retired from Delco-Remy in Anderson after 30 years of service. She was a member of the American Legion in Knightstown.
She is survived by a son: Gary (wife: Suzanne) Orrell of Parker, AZ; grandchildren: Laura S. (husband: Tracy) Abrisch of Crestview, FL; Gary L. (wife: Carla) Orrell Jr. of Rushville, Molina Orrell of Loon Lake, WA; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews including a special niece: Peggy Kruse of Anderson.
She was preceded in death by one sister: Madge Merideth, and one brother: Roger Goodpaster.
Graveside service will be Monday, February 14, 2011 at 1:30 PM at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knightstown American Legion, 224 E. Main St. Knightstown, IN 46148. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hinsey-brown.com .
