Max E. Iddings

Max E. Iddings, 65, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 23, 2014 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born April 21, 1949 in New Castle, Indiana a son of the late Russell and Margaret (Wilkinson) Iddings.

He had been employed at Hillcroft Industries, McDonalds, Flying J and the Spiceland Truck Stop. He was a member of First Bible Free Will Baptist Church where he was involved with The Master’s Men. Max enjoyed shopping, rummage sales and working with electronics. He loved mowing lawns, especially for others.

Survivors include his sister: Helen Lane of Anderson; niece: Pamela Lane of Middletown; an aunt: Ruth Moore of Anderson and several cousins.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at First Bible Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Harlen Johnson officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services at the church. Burial will be at Sugar Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the First Bible Free Will Baptist Church, 2302 Spring Street, New Castle, IN 47362. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service.
