Maxine L. Jackson

Maxine L. Jackson, age 88, of New Castle, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at Madison Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born October 9, 1925 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Lee and Lela Kathleen (Stringer) Malone.
She was a custodian for Westminster House retiring in 1992 after 10 years of service. She attended First Apostolic Church in New Castle.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Vickers of Reno, NV; a son, Robert (wife, Lois) Jackson of Belle Plaine, KS; fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a brother, Paul Malone of Anderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Billie Jackson.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend John D. Beck, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery.
