Mershon Marie Tidd

Mershon Tidd, 50, of Knightstown passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, December 1st, 2023. She was born February 21st, 1973, in Henry County, Indiana to the late John Hill and Kathy Lines (Jones)

Mershon graduated from Warren Central High School in 1991. Mershon loved racing, she grew up watching her father Larry (LJ) Lines race Late Models and Modifieds for many years followed by her son TJ. She spent much time at the racetrack with family. Mershon loved her dog Deja. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and loved flowers. Her favorite flower was an Iris. Mershon loved to craft, she was always looking for all the deals when she went to her favorite store Hobby Lobby. Her love for crafting showed her dedication of ensuring her mother’s burial site matched the changing of the seasons.

Mershon is survived her husband of 28 years Michael Tidd; son TJ Callaway (Searra), daughter Zoie Tidd, and father Larry (LJ) Lines, one brother Branden L. Lines, several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.

Mershon is preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Lines and biological father, John Hill and several aunts and uncles.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 7th , 2023, at 2:00 PM at Hinsey Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Bob Lines officiating. A burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 pm until the time of the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Sue Ann Wortman Cancer Center in Greenfield. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
