Michael Massengale

Michael Massengale, 55, of New Castle, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024 at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born May 12, 1969 in New Castle, a son of the late Bobby Joe and Vena Louise (Foster) Massengale.

Mike never met a stranger. He was always considerate of others and loved animals. A hard worker, he was a gentle, caring man who loved giving hugs. He enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels. He had worked in construction and also worked at Grede Foundry, but his favorite job was when he worked at Fountaintown Forge, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Angela (Hall) Massengale of New Castle; a daughter, Mandy Leigh (James) Northcutt of New Castle; son, Caleb Hall of New Castle; grandson, Kaden Oakes of Connersville, and a grandson due in a few days. Survivors also include his parents-in-law, Harold and Brenda Hall; siblings-in-law, Joy (Bobby) Perks, Teresa Dunn, Troy Pruitt, Richard (Kelly) Pruitt; niece, Jasmine Perks; nephew, Anthony Perks; and Juanita Sheward and David (Tina) Buell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bobby Gene Massengale.
