Michael Edwin Pierce, age 68, of Losantville, Indiana, passed away January 27, 2014.
He was born December 5, 1945 in New Castle, Indiana to the late John Huff and Mildred (Walker) Pierce.
He was employed at Jay Randolph Developmental Services in Winchester for 30 years. He was a doorman at Antioch Christian Church in Losantville. Michael enjoyed old movies and food shows, he also enjoyed working on the farm with his father.
Survivors include a sister, Pamela (Gene) Catron of Mooreland; nieces and nephews, Deanna Jean Catron of Mooreland, Dale Eugene (Connie) Catron of Tyrone, PA, Dana Havel of GA, Roxanna Everetts of VA, Ricky Pierce of Huntsville, Scott Pierce of Richmond and Gary Pierce of Muncie; a great nephew and niece, Dale Eugene Catron, Jr and Cierra Lynn Catron both of Tyrone, PA; three great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Sylvia Elizabeth (Pierce) Everetts; brother, Jonathan Eugene Pierce.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Antioch Christian Church in Losantville with Reverend David Craw officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Losantville. Friends may call from 12-2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to the Antioch Christian Church, PO Box 7, Losantville, IN, 47354.
