Michael Dillon Wood

Michael Dillon Wood, 33, a resident of New Castle passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024. He was born July 24, 1990 in New Castle.

Michael loved outdoor sports, especially fishing, camping and canoeing. He also enjoyed listening to music, working on bicycles and vacationing with his grandparents. Above all, Michael loved spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish Michaels memory include his mother: Valerie Coffey; a sister: Heather Brown; grandmother: Sue Coffey and two nephews: Trent Brown and TJ (Jayden) Petrey.

He was preceded in death by his father: Michael Louis Wood; paternal grandparents: Charles and Betty Wood; maternal grandfather: Porter “Skinny” Coffey; brother: Cody Wood and a nephew: Blaine Michael Lee.

Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition.
