Michael “Mick” Zambos, 55, of Middletown passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. He was born April 17, 1966 in Muncie, Indiana, a son of Stephen and Agatha (Bertram) Zambos.
He worked at R & L. Carriers in Alexandria and was formerly employed at Charles Schwab Investing. Mick owned and operated Zambos Cleaners and Sweet Expressions Bakery & Café in Middletown. He enjoyed race cars and raced at Mt. Lawn & Anderson Speedways for 5 years. A very talented musician, Mick played & sang gospel music in various churches. He was a member of the Middletown American Legion.
Survivors include his wife: Debbie Zambos, whom he married December 24, 2015; 8 stepchildren, Rachel Fischer, Joel Meyer, Luke Meyer, Adam Meyer, Seth Meyer, Juliana Kearney, Brooke Kirk & Hannah Hughes; Mick was Poppi to 25 grandchildren & had a special bond with Gabe Fischer, Laura Fischer, Lexi Fischer, Bella Fischer, Aria Fischer, Cayson Robbins & Declan Hughes; mother, Agatha Zambos of Middletown; brother, Tim Zambos of Middletown; niece Mikaela Zambos; and several aunts, uncles & cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two special uncles, Eddie “Ramo” Webb & Tom Riddle.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in Middletown. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
