Michele Day, age 39, of Losantville, went to be with her Heavenly Father, October 20, 2008 at Ball Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born October 12, 1969 in New Castle, Indiana to James E. and Barbara A. (Sliger) Clouse.
She was a 1988 graduate of Union High School. She actively attended Union Chapel Congregational Christian Church in Parker City. She enjoyed fishing, watching Little League Baseball and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years: Sammie Day, whom she married September 23, 1989; a son: Derrick Day; a daughter: Shae Day all of Losantville; her mother: Barbara A. Clouse of Blountsville; a brother: James R. (wife: Robin) Clouse of New Castle; a sister: Jenifer Clouse (fiance: Jeff Bell) of Losantville; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father: James E. Clouse.
A memorial service will be held at Union Chapel Congregational Christian Church at a later date. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Memorial contributions may be given to the Little Red Door, 401 W. Jackson, Muncie, IN 47305.
