Mildred Jean Justice

Mildred Jean Justice, 76, of New Castle passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness. She was born April 24, 1936 in Henry County, a daughter of the late James and Martha (James) Taylor.

A lifelong Henry County resident, she and her husband had farmed all their lives. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a long time member of the Greensboro Home Ec Club.

Survivors include a son: Danny (wife: Sherry) Justice of Middletown; two daughters: Jacqueline “Jackie” (husband: Larry) Brayton and Teresa Justice both of New Castle; son-in-law: Charles Williamson of New Castle; daughter-in-law: Susan Sanders of Honey Creek; six grandchildren: Sheryl (husband: Jason) Crane, Cindy (husband: Brandon) Smith, Dustin Justice, Hillary (husband: Kyle) Edington, Charles Williamson, and Danica Paige Justice; two step grandchildren: Jessica and Alyssa Sanders; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Jack B. Justice in 1995 and several brothers & sisters.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with her nephew Chuck Justice officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
