Mildred N. Robinson, age 93, of Mooreland, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Henry County Hospital. She was born April 3, 1922 in Henry County to the late Miles Mark and Lesta Viola (Cross) Marshall.
She was a graduate of Mooreland High School. Mildred had worked at Warner Gear for a few years and on a seasonal basis for Brooks Foods in Mt. Summit. A foster parent for 20 years, she fostered 83 children. She was a member of the Mooreland Friends Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Kay (Ronnie) DeWeese of Mooreland and Carol (Don) Blevins of New Castle and Penny (Scott) Seager of New Castle; sons, Dwain (Sandi) Robinson of Connersville and Daniel (Joyce) Robinson of Cambridge City; grandchildren, Kim and Jerry Wesley, Ronnie, Jr. and Amy DeWeese, Ronda and Doug Crisp, Darren DeWeese, Tami and Steve DeGroat, Ken and Diane Robinson, Shane and Kelly Robinson, Johnnie and Lori Blevins, Scott and Karen Blevins, Daniel Robinson, Corina and Eric Beck, Jeff and Jennifer Cline, Kevin and Christina Cline, Justin Espinda, Zack Espinda, Lexi Seager and Devin Seager; thirty two great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Martha York of Kokomo; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Charles Robinson; a brother, Claude Marshall; four sisters, Laura Swoveland, Ruth Bowman, Florence Heltzel and Elizabeth Lindley and a great grandson: Andrew Hilsky.
Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2015 at Mooreland Friends Church with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery.
