Milton Earl Brooks

Milton Earl Brooks, 81, of Knightstown, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Beaumont Health and Rehabilitation in Anderson. He was born May 23, 1941 in Ralston, OK, the son of the late Milton Earnest and Florence Matilda (Miller) Brooks.
Milton loved the Lord and was a longtime member of the Faith Chapel Church. He proudly served his country and was a veteran of the US Army and US Air Force. Milton worked in commercial wall covering and was a member of the Local #47 Painters and Allied Trade Union. He loved to sing and play his guitar and also enjoyed spending time riding horses and motorcycles.
Milton is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norma (Franklin) Brooks of Knightstown; children, Chris (Jr.) Coogle of Kentucky, Pat (Gary) Sergeant of Knightstown and John (Charlene) Kirkman of Morgantown; brother, Kenny Brooks of Kansas City, KS; numerous grand and great grandchildren along with lots and lots of friends.
In addition to his parents, Milton was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Bischoff.
At Milton’s request, there will be no public services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Condolences and memories of Milton may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
