Nancy Alice Byrket, 74, of Knightstown, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at her residence. She was born June 25, 1935 in New Castle, the daughter of Herman and Inez (Bradfield) Byrket.
A 1953 graduate of New Castle High School, Nancy was an avid reader and movie buff. She enjoyed following figure skating, golf and tennis. She was a big fan of the Olympics.
Nancy is survived by two sisters: Doris Kinney of Knightstown and Claire Pryor of Clarksville, IN; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Leon Byrket.
Graveside services will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Smile Train, 28th Floor, 41 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10010, the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hinsey-brown.com .
